I had to get really low down with the macro lens at 1:1   Common Nettle The common stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) looks so different when approached this close with a Macro lens!   Dandelions and Flowerbugs Last summer(2004) we had an invasion of flower beetles, they were everywhere!   Wild Geranium Not sure what type of Geranium this is but I love the colour!   Naturalised Privet (Ligustrum sp) Privet is well known as a garden bush but it is also found growing wild near farmland where it flowers well in summer.
