When you can't get away from the noise at home, at work, on the go, or wherever you want to listen to your favorite
tunes, cancel out some of the distractions with headphones. Noise is created by sound waves, so the headphone system incorporates microphones that listen to the sound around you. Then a small receiver determines the amount of antinoise waves to create to cancel out some of the surrounding sound. When you activate the noise-reduction technology on the receiver, the sounds around you are notably reduced. Don't expect these headphones to completely block out the sound
of your lawn mower, the phone ringing, or of people speaking around you, but it dramatically tones down much of the extraneous noise and seems to nearly eliminate it when combined with a music source. |
