Convert Using Quicktime
Ok, it is also possible to convert using Quicktime software of Apple, so I quickly finished this page.
If you first check my Mpegable x4 guide, you will be able to understand this oen better.
It is easy but I had some sound problems with some of my MPEGs, I don't know why yet.
OK,lets do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
As usual, download Quicktime ,but there is something I must warn you about:
You must install Quicktime Authoring add-on and you need to have a licence key because it is only for Quicktime Pro users (see following pic.) Again, don't ask me for serials, go find it yourself they are everywhere.
NOTE: QUICKTIME SETUP PROGRAM WILL DOWNLOAD NECESSARY FILES FROM INTERNET. SO IF YOU HAVE A SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION,REMEMBER THAT MOST OF THE COMPUTER MAGAZINES ADD QT TO THEIR BUNDLED CD'S WITH THE CACHE, WHICH MEANS ALREADY DOWNLOADED.SO SETUP WILL CHECK THE CACHE, SEE EVERYTHING IS THERE AND DON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING.YOU CAN GO AND BUY A MAGAZINE, OR JUST BORROW A CD FROM ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS.

OK, again download, install, restart and you are ready to rock'n roll.

Now, Select File>Open to open a video file. Change the "Files of Type" to browse other filetypes that QT support.

We opened our video. Its time to convert it so Click File and proceed to Export, or simply press Ctrl+E.

You will get this window. First of all select "Movie to MPEG-4" in the Export section. Then click to "Options"

OK,now we have a window that has two parts. Above, there is a section that allows us to change settings and below,we have a summary of the video which will help us to check settings. The long bar at the top will allow you to browse between Video,Audio etc. setings.Change your settings as shown in the pictures.

And, we are ready to encode.Click OK once to leave the settings screen and then click save to encode your movie file as MP4.

And here we have it. I used the Terry Tate-Vacation video of Reebok. Check http://www.reebok.com/terrytate for them, pretty funny.
NOTE: BE CAREFUL, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT FILES AND NEVER BLAME ME FOR AND DAMAGE THESE PROCCESES MADE TO YOUR SYSTEM.
