shape of things to come, the "Corporation" have been part of British Bus
and then Cowie, which is rebranding as "ARRIVA" in this case the subtext
is "serving Southend". On the left is the up-to-date loivery of Thamesway,
a "First Bus" company
For
a long time the peir railway was run by AC cars sliding door units in green
which was the tramway livery. There was double track with two crodd overs
allowing 4 train operation two leaving opposite ends at the same time.
The replacement railway is deisel hauled with two trains and single track
with passing loop.
