| There
are very few Vets that specialize in avian medicine. As a bird owner it pays to establish a good working relationship with a good avian Vet. We can recommend
these four who have a wide experience dealing with bird veterinary
problems. They are well qualified in all aspects of avian medicine. It pays to take a sick bird to the Vet, especially one that is valuable even if the cost of the Vets fees may quite expensive. |

| Vet Tip When taking your bird to the vet, place a fresh piece of paper or polythene in the bird carrying cage. This will allow a fresh faecal sample to be obtained, should this be required by the vet. |
