Hi, my name is Iain Brignell and I currently live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire but was brought up in Tideswell, Derbyshire (5-10 minutes drive from Peak Forest). I have created and will maintain this website as a hobby and have participated in The Peakers Stroll 3 times as a youngster.
I haven't yet ruled out walking (running? no chance!) the full 25 miles again at some point in the future, but I recommend that if the sun is out on Stroll day make sure you have sun cream handy as I still have painful memories of the week after the 1990 Stroll when the sun shone all day long! Kids always think they know best...
