Since our site is very much still in construction, we will have many new updates and changes. Below are a brief outline of what has been happening here at Pet-Central.

07/19/03 - The news page has been posted, along with a news bulletin on the main page.

Anything below here are things that have happened in the weeks before July 19, 2003. Anything after July 19th, 2003 will be dated appropriately.

-A new forum has been created for Pet-Central. It is hosted by Lycos, through Invision Power Board. We have boards for Dogs, Cats, Birds, Fish, Amphibians, Reptiles, and more. It has a cool new look, and is alot more user friendly. You can access it by clicking here or by clicking the "forum" link at the top of the page. To use all of the features included with this new message board, you must register. To register, click the "register" link at the top of the main forum page.

-We are in the process of setting up our own server. Lycos is only a temporary one. The new server probably won't be up until September, 2003. Until then, please try to tolerate the pop-up ads.

-We have recently added several sections to our site. One of which is "Species Spotlight." Every month or so, we will feature a new kind of pet on our website. A picture will be posted of that type of pet, along with some basic care information, and links or resources for those looking to do more research on that type of animal. Before we post a new "species spotlight" we will be announcing the type of animal that is to be featured next. If any reader's own that particular species of pet, we encourage you to send in pictures of your pet so that we can post them on our species spotlight page. More details will be provided soon.
