Philips LDL-1002

This is the first practical video for home use made by philips.built around 1968 and it weighs 45 kilo !.its a "reel to reel"
system.images where recorded on tapes like used with audio tape recorders.there was also a LDL-1000 identical to the 1002
but
the 1000 was the mobile recorder, hard to find.

click on the link in the picture, for more info on philips
video recorders.

on the left, Philips Portable video type LDL-1000.made in about 1969.this one comes with an original Philips tv that could be bought with the LDL-1000.after restoration it will work again.these are very hard to find !.thanks to Mr. Roel Van Beurden, he saved this one all those years.

on the left, Philips LDL-1000 back view.shows the connection to the television with a special cable.

on the left, some LDL 1000/1002 Video Tapes in box.

on the left, Philips N-1500 , year 1971.this is the first videocasette recorder,it uses casettes instead of the "reel to reel" system.weight is 17 kilo,s.

on the left ,some very old rare videotapes for the first video ,reel to reel system.made by philips in + - 1964.

on the left, a new Philips LVC-90 video-casette used for the N-1500/N-1700 series.

on the left, some Philips Reel To Reel Videotapes for the models LDL 1000/1002.this box came with the LDL-1000.unfortunate they cant be played anymore.in the worst case they will damage the video.

on the left, Philips VR-2020 with remote control.this is the first "video 2000" model released in the shops.weight 17 kilo,s .i think before
this one there was also a VR-2000 "prototype" made only a short time about a year,i am still looking for the Philips VR-2000.

on the left, Philips VR-2023 with remote control, made in about 1980,weight 17 kilo,s.this video was bought new by my parents in that time,it was
very expensive i think about 1700 guilders.they saved it all these years on the attic, about 5 years ago i stopped them from
trowing it away.at that time i was not interested in these video,s but recently that changed and pulled it from storage.it
still works perfect.so i am glad i still have it,and lucky me,my parents found the original manual that was missing a long
time.the original box was trown away unfortunate.
