Safety and construction features and why it is so popular.

Fagor manufactures several models of pressure cookers. This is the only model that can be used as a pressure fryer (due to the type of locking lid).

You will see that this pressure cooker fryer is the result of years of experience and research in the field of household appliances and is designed to meet the highest standards of use and safety.

  • Two pressure release valves.
  • Two stainless steel safety clamps on the sides.
  • The body and lid are 18/10 quality stainless steel construction.
  • It has a 3 ply diffuser base (bottom) for even heat distribution and fuel efficiency on all heat  sources, including magnetic heat induction stoves.

Early model designs of pressure cookers were equipped with only one steam valve. This has since given way to TWO steam valves. One acting as a backup for the other. Most importantly we have incorporated stainless steel safety clamps on the sides of the pressure cooker that ensure that even if all of the above features were de-activated, that excessive pressure would be released between the pressure cooker and lid in a downward motion. This is achieved by the unique design of the lid and safety clamps, that allow for excessive pressure to lift the lid, and be released downwards over the body of the cooker.
