Having left school in 1981 Andy joined H.M. Band of the Grenadier Guards as a saxophone player. After 8 years of playing ceremonial & private functions around the world he decided to leave & re-enter the 'real ' world! In 1990 he joined the touring musical 'Grease' & played the theatres of England and Northen Ireland for 2 years. In 1992 Andy started working in the Middle East & continued to do so, on & off for the next 5 years.Organizing contracts for duos, trios & full bands he would spend time in Dubai, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Oman and Israel.
For the last few years he has been playing solo around the U.K. interspersed with regular contracts overseas including European ski resorts,bars in the Canary Islands,Scandinavia,France,the Channel Isles,Faroe Islands and even a tour of rock clubs in British Columbia,Canada. As well as solo work Andy is in the process of writing an album of original material for release in the near future.
