The Red Lion is located on the Great North Road, just outside of the residential areas of Welwyn Garden City.
The pub is quite large, and has a good sized beer garden for the summer months, complete with outside bottle bar.
The free house has a good selection of beer, as well as a reasonable variety of hot and cold food.
