The Woodman, Chapmore End.
The Woodman is located in the tiny village of Chapmore End, just outside Hertford. The pub itself is equally tiny, to the extent that the draught lager pumps don't even fit on the bar! The selection of beer is good, and the bar menu is also good, if slightly restrictive.
This pub is good for summer afternoons, as it boast a large garden complete with a mini-zoo, featuring Brian the snake.
