My Views
The second and later part of the life of Uther, certain traces from this novel are to be found in the Rigante series with Cormac here becoming the complex Bane in the later. Here we explore the world in which an error of judgement leads to a fued that lasts a lifetime and also a great betrayal. Yet again we see the use of Magic, swords and wars to cleverly blend the novel together giving each character and uncertain fate in the world.
It is this uncertainty that I feel gives the two Arthurian tales thier chance to shine.
