My Views
A tale of true old fashioned principles seeing a quest to rescue a beautiful maiden, a tale complicated by the fact that she is queen of the wolves, now nadir royalty.
Another book into Gemmells realm of the Drenai, with many seeking to continue the tale years after the fall of Drenan, with the nadir now controling a sizeable chunk of the world demonstrating that although powerful in war they now exact revenge on the scale to which it was first used upon them, a case of reap what you so. It also demonstrates that perhaps not everyone is suited to govern as in war they were unequaled but in peace they aren't particullary brilliant.
If you like tales of daring, honour and fellowship against the odds, then this is the book for you.
