The Rigante Trilogy follows the success of the Rigante people from their uniting with the other mountain clans through to their ultimate battle against the Armies of Stone in which Bane (Connavars son) led the army in his place as he was slain by treachery. The third book sees the story set 800 years into the future where a once proud people are living out thier enslaved lives where the death of a true hero sets them free with the forth set 5 years after with the country plunged into a civil war and the Rigante greatness shines again against an old enemy.
