Here you will find my most recent happenings....

(Newest at the top)

Friday 31st December

Hope everyone had a lovely christmas... and its that time of year again.

Another year gone, and another one starting....
Now is a time for reflection and rememberance, to all the things that have come and gone this year and then looking towards the future and what next year could possibly hold for us!

Major points this year:

* Seeing Placebo again.. after all this time! Stef's Gay Dance now that was just hilarious!!!!!!! Aftershow party! 'say no more'

* Belfast in April/May - important part of  the year, and i would like to thank Ian (zooey) who got me to listen to "Dead Letters" by The Rasmus and also for "7 UP" tehehehe (some things will never change though you know)

* THE RASMUS - totally! So much has happened this year because of them! I've met so many new friends and seen so many live shows of theirs.  I hope they have enjoyed it as much as me!

* THE RASMUS ROAD TRIP opened my eyes to so many things.
....8 Shows in 9 days....
an experience to say the least!  And i can see a new Road Trip taking place when TR tour the UK again...different places, different people, the same aim! To show our support and party with TR!!

**Look out for THE RASMUS ROAD TRIP 2005/6**
(The road trip came about because of what happened in Reading in August 04, after the heartache - and injury, it was needed to show them as much support as possible and make up for that horrid incident!)

* Miles Hunt - didn't see much of him this year, but he's becoming more "distinguished" as the years go on, and i am hoping Dharma Drive who i got introduced to are going to be the next 'Miles Hunt'

* The worse point of the year for me was losing my baby, INKEY. I had him for nearly 13 years. He was my shoulder to cry on and my best friend. Sadly missed :'(

On The positive side.. what will next year bring me? (A sexy finnish man by the name of Lauri? one can dream!)

Already planned (or planning) for next year:

* JAPAN - TRRT goes ~WORLDWIDE~ You wouldn't believe how excited i am about this... *bounces around*.....just don't ask me to go to pee!!!!

* The Wonder Stuff Tour - March

* Hidingplace Tour - Not confirmed yet, but waiting with baited breath!

* 18 Visions (and hopefully a Rasmus Fans meetup)
* Ocean Colour Scene

* Suomi (Finland) - Thinking of going to see the "Northern Lights"

"I wish you were here with me tonight with me to see the northern lights......" - The Rasmus - Still Standing [Dead Letters]

Tuesday 21st December

Well, its nearly that time of year yet again... time for the festive season!!

BRING IT ON!

Even though i have flu yet again,  i am suprisingly full of christmas cheer this year.  Tis a first for a long time.

November has been... the baddest month of this year, but December is already making up for it.

The Rasmus definately made me feel a lot better! Bless them! Lauri and the "look" - amazing! I think they have made my year! Minun Rasmus! ;)

Work xmas do on Thursday, am looking forward to that, BIG NITE OUT with me sister Thursday night, also looking forward to that :D

Went to London last weekend - Brilliant! (though if i had a chance, i would have stayed in bed!! *cough*)

The History Boys - This was just an hilarious play! Very Slashy which shocked me a little as there were so many people in the audience clapping and cheering along! Total Madness!!  But the story was good.. and the acting was amazing! I would like to see it again! (Now having gotten over the initial shock of it!)

His Dark Materials - Simply Fantastic!! I was wondering how they were going to pull off such an amazing story, but they did! (although they completely missed out a section, but then its understandable as it was already 6 hours long!)
The acting was amazing, just as i had expected the characters to be! (Although Mrs Coulter should have had blonde hair i feel!! Bearing in mind the monkey was "golden") Michael Legge who played the character of "Will Parry" was extremely sweet! And definately the right person to play the part. :D

Other than them, i had a lovely relaxing weekend in London :)

Finished all my xmas shopping... bring on Japan next! I am sooo excited about it! I cannot wait....!! Wooohooooo!!!

Thats it for now, i will post before the end of the year..

Sunday 28th November

Today.. i have mostly been listening to The Rasmus and Hiding Place!
Hows that for Random?? lmao

I've had this thing for Tomato soup for the last week... dunno what it is, but i needed to have some. So i specially went to Sainsburys today and got some.. YUMMYNESS!

I've been spending my day today... at work and then reading slashy Rasmus storys....what a way to spend a day! lmao

Ok, lost it now... time to go!
Tune in same time next weekend for more ranndomness!! lmao

Saturday 27th November

This has been the worse week of my year....
On Monday 22nd November, i had to have Inkey (yes, my pudding.. my baby) *shudders to have to say it* put down.

I'm missing him so much already, and Sassy hasn't been right all week. Its put a downer on this whole year, i mean you begin to think some things will always be the same.. and i was beginning to think i would always have Inkey.  My first ever Cat... my first proper pet that was mine, that i looked after.. and cared for from him being just 5 weeks old to nearly 13 years old.  Could say the longest relationship i've ever had!!
Well.. i will never forget him.. (I haven't forgotten Ben, my first dog...[he was the whole families though] who was put down when i was 8...)
Things about Inkey i will remember....
"the way he sat when i told the dog to sit"
"purring so loud he could keep you awake"
"As soon as u think he is asleep.. u'd move a little.. and the purring would start all over again"
"he had to have his own chair in the vets... and purred loudly when sat on the vets table"
"Taking him to college with me to do demonstrations with, such a good boy!"

Inkey
~*RIP*~
5th April 1992 to 22nd November 2004

On the other side of this week.. I went to a F8 gig monday night (not that i wanted to go out, but i was made too!) Really good! And the new Bassist rocks!!! Can't wait for the next gig!!

Darren Hayes on Tuesday night in Bristol... it was a good gig.. but my heart wasn't in it.  Hidingplace were in Cardiff the same night, and i wanted to be there instead.  I'm not saying i have gone off Darren... i still like the music and wanted to see this tour of his... But i didn't want to be there on Tuesday.
It also made me sad at how many Savage Garden songs Darren performed. He even done "Two Beds and a Coffee Machine" with someone else at a keyboard.. it should have been Daniel dammit!!  To be honest, it quite upset me... brought back a lot of the Savage Garden memories.. u know... the good old days. Sometimes (this being one of those times) I wish i could go back to the start of 2000.. and start things all over again. (Even though that was a bad year for me).

On the other "up" points this week... i'd like to thank Lynn (And Sara) for all the "phone homes" from the Hidingplace gigs... i really wish i could have gone to more than just Nottingham (which totally rocked by the way) but work, money and the usual stopped me! If any of the boys are reading this... I'll see u soon! xx
"At One Time" is definately my favourite song of theirs...!!

Ok, i have updated my links now aswell... My photos can now either be found at:
And this website can now be  got to by this very snazzy shortcut: www.puskins.tk - Ain't i clever :)

I've been running a little bit of a test on my MSN Messenger the last 2 days, and you know what... I'm surprised...well gutted and suprised!
I had my username as: Jayne: If i dyed today, would you miss me?
And you know what... those who i would have called "best friends" Haven't even commented on it.. or asked how i was. Bearing in mind they would probably know about Inkey.. they haven't even asked if i am ok.  But i suppose in times like this, you find out who your true friends are.  Who you can trust... and who will be around for a few years yet.  I think its time to close some doors on "certain" so called friendships...  my life is too short for people who cannot be bothered to care.

And to those who did read it, and messaged me.... thank you. You are true friends.  **big special hugs**

(And Tina..[a TR Fan] thank you for being there when i needed to talk to someone *hugs*)

Well.. work tomorrow morning. Its my weekend... but lots coming up! So fill u in on details soon. Take Care... and feel free to email me about anything written here or on my site.

What a week!! BROADBAND FINALLY!! YAY!

I'm having a total obsession this week, its all things TR, but then it has been all things TR for a little while now.

I went mad, and i've bought most of the back catalogue of TR's singles and albums... yay!!! I should see about getting some nice posters now....

Had major thunderstorms on Monday - it was bad! Power cuts galore! And it brought on a major headache due to lack of being able to sleep... oh well... speak of sleep!!

I have two things to say as well.... HAPPY LIFE and RIFF RANDOM!! Those who know me know what i am on about (I LIKE!!!! KT, its ur fault!! pml)

Friday 10th September
Today... in the big brother house.... pml!! Only kidding!!

I've been reminiscing today... i just looked over all my old Setlists, since i started collecting them.  I was very selective to start off with, but i have a more wider collection these days. I have:

Robbie Williams (2001)

Darren Hayes (Oct 2002)

Darius (Brighton 9th May 2003)

Will Young (2004)

The Rasmus (Summer 2004 and 25/8/04)

Ocean Colour Scene (18/6/04)

Its quite mad that i have such a variety!!  (*sings* Its madness.........) Anyways....back to reality! Thats without all the stuff i have had signed....! Isn't life so exciting!

I've even got (not mentioned above) a "12 Inch Ninja" setlist from back in March 2004 - tis a big shame!! :(  Ah well...

Also there is a new TR poster in the TOTP mag which i acquired on the way home :D

Me and the sister went out for food tonight as well, its her birthday Sunday and we were mean't to be going out tomorrow before we go out clubbing but we thought we would do it todayt instead of rushing tomorrow!!  Yummy Food!!

"Lately.. i have mostly been reading.... SLASH!!"

Just thought i would share that with you ;) I'm really loving The Rasmus Slash stories at the moment, i think my fav pairing is Lauri/Aki... so sweet!!  I've even been writing some myself.. and if you find your way to the ASS Forum.. you can find it :D (email me for details of the mentioned forum)

Monday 6th September
What a weekend!!  It was mad!!

I had my first experience of GAY in London Astoria.  It was absolutely amazing!!

We started the night off by going out around 11pm.. and went to the GAY Bar, we danced a little in there and around midnight we made our way over to the nightclub.

We got into the nightclub, got a drink and danced for a good few hours.. its a really good atmosphere in there and the people are really nice.  And the best part was we got to see Darren Hayes performing.

Darren done a half hour set including Affirmation, Crush, I Want You, Insatiable and some songs off the new album.. including: I Like The Way, Pop!ular and a lovely acoustic version of Unlovable.

It was just a brilliant night and we got to have a quick chat with him afterwards....

Definately somewhere nice to go out to in London :D

Monday 21st June

OMG! I can't believe it... i can actually access my site to update it!!  Its been since my the previous entry that i have added to my site... talk about withdrawal symptoms!

So what have i been upto.. where to start!!

April/May - Went to Belfast for a long weekend with the WWC, it was a mad time, lots of alcohol and lots of fun all round!

I also started going to a lot more 12 Inch Ninja Gigs... but unfortunately, to reasons unknown to me, they split up at the beginning of June....so where to next??

I've really got into "The Rasmus" at the moment, am absolutely loving them.. and i want to see them at the end of June in London, but i don't think i can afford to go. Also, i have bought a ticket for Reading! Placebo and The Rasmus on the same day... its love!!!! I'm so excited about it!! I can't wait!

So, onto June... I have CHICKEN POX!!  How? I don't know!
I went to a Ninja gig on Thursday 3rd June, then out with the girls from work on Friday 4th June... in rather a bad state on the Saturday, attempting to recover and then off to another gig in Cardiff that night.  Then we went straight onto West Wales for a gig in Tipi Villiage on the Sunday.. and by Monday, i had chicken pox!!!  The only up point is having time off work... but unfortunately the bad points seem to be outweighing the good points!!  Itch, itch and more itch!!

But, Darren Hayes has announced he is doing Birmingham and London Party In The Park this year.  Which i feel deserves a trip. :D

I know Darren was/is filming in london today and tomorrow for his new single "Popular"... so i am looking forward to it when it does come out!!  So.. off i go to update the photo section ;)

Well, its been a mad few weeks.  Finally i am nearly over the Flu!!  Lucky me managed to have a week off work with it as well....my bed was lovely and comfortable!! But now i am back..... :D

I'm into Pulp Fiction at the moment.... big time! I'm listening to the soundtrack right now :D

Anyway, I'm also going out in 5 mins... so i will add some more tomorrow or later tonight :D

HAPPY EASTER ALL

Saturday 20th March

Well i had a relatively quiet birthday on the 16th. Went out for the evening, but it was nothing special.

I went to Bristol on Thursday night (18th March) to stay with a friend before going to see Lulu in Concert at Bristol Colston Hall on the Friday night.

We went to the Colston hall a little earlier, to see our friend Karl who is playing drums for her a the moment.  Managed to have a quick chat to him, but we had to leave before he came back out as we had to get all glammed up for the concert and we were going out afterwards on the town. (Bristol ain't really a town but you know what i mean!!)

So by the time we got back to the venue for the concert it was nearly 8pm, and to our suprise the support act was none other than our Eurovision entry, James Fox... which quite made my day! So we watched his set, and i have to say, i was quite impressed by him! Some of his own tracks could have Darius having a run for his money!!  Or more like, eat your heart our Darren Hayes!

Then Lulu came on stage, and though i can say i didn't like what she was wearing.... she convinced the aging audience (i felt really young) to get on their feet and dance a little.  Once that happened the place really livened up!  And of course, she ended the concert with "Shout".

"Special K" and "She's behind you" is all i am going to say about that night.....it was great!! I am going to do a page about the lovely Karl Brazil, as soon as i get 2 seconds free! Though if u want to read about him, go to www.karlbrazil.com :D
I'll also be posting some photos soon.....such a talented musician!

Ah well, work in the morning...... :S

Monday 15th March

U know i really hate mondays!!  Especially when work is busy and its been a tiring weekend!!

Well i should rephase that, it was a brilliant weekend!!  Friday night, Curry with friends... few drinks, a few more drinks...a bit of dancing!! (No romancing :( But nevermind!).  Such a goodnight, i spent all my Saturday in bed....asleep!!

I can't wait until tomorrow......its my BIRTHDAY!! YAY! *I'm getting old!!*

My sister made me a little birthday tea today.... cause i won't be going there tomorrow and really for the benefit of my nieces, so i am munching on some chocolate cake right now :D

Yummy!!
**party on tomorrow!!**

Thursday 11th March

Well, its been a long week.....and an even longer day!

I'm in a bad mood again recently, things are going from bad to worse with work.  It really does make me wonder why i bother!

But its not just work, single life is starting to get to me as well.  Everyone i sort of fancy, either run a mile, or are already seeing someone.  Life sucks!!

But things are looking up, its my birthday next week.... and i finally got my hands on some Placebo tickets for the 30th March in Brixton, oh i am excited about it!

Also, my friend Liz said she got me Jamie Cullums autograph yesterday :D Yay!!  He's so sweet bless him!! I think if he adds more dates to his tour, i will be tempted to go, the album is really good!!

I've been back into my Reading, i got a new book last week, its called "Nobody True" by James Herbert.  I read it within a few days, it really was good!  I have to say James Herbert is my favourite writer at the moment.  The thing that caused me to pick up  the book in the shop was the extract on the back.  It said "When i died i wasn't there" and it intruiged me!! So much so i had to get it!!

I also set up my Webcam this week for the first time in i don't know how long!!  It doesn't do me any justice!!

Again, its snowing today - if it sticks, it will be cool :D I hope it does!

I'm sat here watching the Bill again, i do like that programme, and i am quite into Footballers Wives, didn't watch the first series but this one is entertaining!! lol

Oh, someone to chat to on msn......yay!! :D
(If you want to chat to me on msn, just add my email addy on the "Contact Me")

March

Yay! Its finally march.....did everyone have a good St. Davids Day??

Well i certainly did! Placebo live Oh what an amazing gig!!  There's nothing like a man in Make-up! Or more to the point, a few men in make-up!

The first support group was absolutely shite! Their name was "Imbecile" and they certainly lived upto their names! They were a 3 piece rock band, and the Drummer and Guitarist were quite good, but the lead man of the band was, well....an Imbecile!

The second support group was called "Colour of Fire" and OMG they rocked! I could easily go and see them as a main act! There was 2 guitarists, a bass guitarist and a drummer.  They really worked the crowd and got the audience ready for placebo.

Then, at 9.15pm....PLACEBO ROCKED THE STAGE! What an amazing night! Absolutely knackered! And being front barrier on Brian's side....*faints*

(More coming soon)

Thursday 26th February

Oh what a busy day! Was completely run off my feet in work today! Busy bee!

I bought my nieces Easter present for them yesterday (i know easter isn't until April, but i have to do these things early!) I paid for another season of Swimming Lessons for them, you never know when you might need to be able to swim - its better than Chocolate, and i am sure they will have loads of that! (Normally 20 Eggs each or more!!)  And i am fed up of coming across people, men in particular that cannot swim! I think i am going to make that as a requirement of my next boyfriend etc....THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM! lol

Oh, its snowed today! Not much...but it was something! Took some lovely photos, am going to use them as part of my assessment for my Digital Photography Course :D

I also took my Car to the garage to be checked over.  One or two faults that needs seeing too.  One more urgent than all the others, but its not going to cost me much! Such a relief!

I'm all ready for the weekend now......look out Christian Coulson, here i come! Though if any of you get to go to London, i would suggest going to see "Journeys End" at the Comedy Theatre...such an amazing play, brilliant actors and what a storyline! I was in tears!  But we have better seats this time, so i will be able to see what is happening properely!  And then its Mr Brian Molko and Placebo on Monday......  *I'm forever wishing my life away*

Todays thought "How do you tell someone that you might just possibly love them" or i should say "How do you build up the courage to tell someone that?"  answers in an email to the regular addy ;)

Yay! I have a green light! *jumps up and down* (My camera battery is charged that is!)

I'm still in the process of getting things ready for the weekend......

*toddles off to finish getting things ready*

Tuesday 24th February - PANCAKE DAY!!

Yep, today was pancake! Yay!
After my awful day in work i went to my sisters and made the kids pancakes!  They said they didn't like them until they seen me making them......they soon changed their minds!!

Work today - well, just don't go there! I've been in such a foul mood today, i just want to scream! Why you might ask? Well, i honestly don't know.....I wish someone would tell me!!! Grrr!!!

Oh yeah, i want to say a CONGRATULATIONS to IAN (aka Zooey) for passing his driving test today!! Nice one hunny!! :D Now you can pick us up when we cum 2 Belfast in May :D yay!! (U know its 8 weeks friday?? Not that i am counting....)

My latest happenings....well i bough the Cats new collars yesterday - they both look very snazzy (oh how exciting am i?)

I think i am just anticipating the weekend a bit too much..... 4am train to london, here i come! :D
Anyone know who is on CD:UK on saturday? (Answers on a postard...i mean email!!)

Speaking of Email, if anyone wants to...go on, brighten my day!

Monday 23rd February 2004

.....Cont/

What a day in work!  As most of you that know me, know i work with maggots! Well we launched onto Prescription on Friday just gone... and it was a big thing! TV and Radio coverage..film crews here there and everywhere!  But it was great!
So we had loads of fun today making up the new Community Orders.....*Here's one i made earlier :D* lol

You know its good chatting to old friends.  Its refreshing catching up with how people's lives are going, though i find it a little upsetting as well...considering how much water has gone under the bridge.  I've got to stop living in the past and wake up...but i suppose being a Piscean - its my thing to do - dream!  **I need chocolate**

Even though i have been dieting for a while now, i find i still hate diets!  Why can't they design something that is yummy to eat and can help you lose weight or at least not gain any!! *grumbles*

I'm very whingey today.....*looks forward to the weekend* At least i can have some fun on the weekend...hello the Brian ;)  There's nothing like a man in make-up! U just can't beat it! *mmmmm*

Anyway, i have to find a few things for my sister. I promised i would take them down for a while now, and since it is Pancake day tomorrow, and i am making the pancakes....i better get the stuff i promised her together...

So until i feel the urge to write something of slight interest....
Bye Bye

Monday 23rd February 2004

Well, its Monday..and i'm sat in work...lucky me :D

It was really cold last night, and i ended up with my two moggies cuddling upto me! And i awoke this morning to having my Sassy Cat licking my face....i think she was trying to hint at something!!

I was watching the tele last night and i have decided i like Jamie Cullum. He sings Jazz and its not really my thing, but he was on the tele last night and i quite enjoyed what he was playing...might have to buy his album!!

Well...... better go and work, might add more later :D
