When I first started to work with GAMESS I tried to find a program to help me both in interpreting the results and with the extraction from the GAMESS output files of the data necessary for advanced procession.

I was very frustrated since I found only a few applications mainly focused on the graphical representation and less on procesing data from the output files. Manual extraction of data from a few output files is a relative easy task which becomes almost impossible if facing a huge amount of output files, which is a frequent situation. Under these circumstances I decided to develop a program which should automatically process data from GAMESS output files without the need to seek the source files.

After three years of development I am finally pleased with the result: QMolView.

QMolView is designed with one goal in mind, to make the life of GAMESS user easier. QMolView is a friendly graphical user interface especially designed to eliminate the processingof huge text files generated by GAMESS.
