REQUIREMENTS
This site works best on a display unit with the following settings (already set up on newer systems):
- 1024x768 Screen Area. how to set...
- High Color resolution. how to set...
- Medium Text Size. how to set...
The browser should meet the following specifications (NOT REQUIRED) the displayed web page may not be expected if the recommended features are absent:
- JavaScript enabled
- Internet Explorer/Navigator version 4.0 or equivalent browser
HOW TO...
TO SET DISPLAY PROPERTIES IN WINDOWS:
- Right click the Desktop.
- Click the Properties menu option to open the Display Properties dialog box. (see its image below)
- Click the Settings tab.
- For Color Quality, click the dropdown list then click the High Color (16 bit) item or a higher value .
- For Screen Resolution, drag the slider to the right until the value 1024x768 pixels (or greater) appears below it.
*NOTE: For other Windows users (95,98,ME,2K), the Display Properties dialog box may appear different but is essentially the same.- Click the OK button.
TO SET DISPLAY PROPERTIES IN LINUX (RED HAT):
- Click the Main Menu.
- Poin to System Settings.
- Click the Display * option to open the Display settings dialog box. (see its image below). You may have to supply the root password if you haven't logged on as root.
- For Resolution, click the dropdown list then click the 1024x768 item or a higher value .
- For the resolution or Color Depth, click the dropdown list then click the Thousands of Colors item or a higher value.
- Click the OK button.
* If you can't find the Display option, look elsewhere in the main menu. If it isn't present, or if you have a different Linux distribution, please consult your Linux manual or the online help.

- click View
- point to Text Size
- click Medium
TO SET IDEAL TEXT SIZE (Netscape/Mozilla)
- click View
- point to Text Zoom
- click 100% (Original Size)
TO SET IDEAL TEXT SIZE (Opera)
- click View
- point to Zoom
- click 100%
