Glentoran Depart for Greece

Glentoran Football Club at the time of writing has the proud record of playing more European matches than any other Irish League club. We have not qualified for Europe more than anyone else, Glentoran have just had more success in proudly flying our countries flag in European competition. Glentoran have had some memorable, epic European matches against the best in soccer at that time and boost a proud and successful record against some of the best European Clubs ever to compete. 

This section covers every match Glentoran competed in and includes results, squads, match reports, programme review, crowds, player profiles and much more. It is hard to imagine Glentoran, or any Irish league Club for that matter, in this day and age having any sort of success in Europe at all but in days gone by Glentoran produced some outstanding performances against some outstanding teams to put N Ireland football firmly on the map and make the Oval a ground were the best in Europe feared to play.
