Jeff Evans Fishing Competition
The Jeff Evans Memorial Fishing Competition took place at Chirk Pools, A good turn out and a pleasant day made for a good days enjoyment. The winner of the competition was Bro Rod Morgan CP. He was presented with a Shield and Trophy by Mrs Margaret Evans the widow of Bro Jeff. Later a BBQ was held at the Cambria Club with good food well prepared by Mark & Harriet. £208 made on the day was given to the PGP’s appeal.
Unfortunately this year the Trophy for younger fishermen was not competed for so will carry on to next years competition.
As Bro Rod is from the John Charles Lodge the competition next year will be organised by Newton. Sprecal thanks to Bro Bob Law ROH DPGP and Bro Gary BryanROH PGP 2002 for organising the event.
