MASDEVALLIA

The genus has around 350 species found from Mexico to Brazil. Most grow epiphytically at high elevations.

Varies, but mostly small, about 9" tall

Watering: 

With small pots and a good root system they can be watered every 5 to 8 days

Feeding: 

Use about quarter to half recommended strength for 3 waterings, then water only the fourth time

Humidity: 

Standing the plant on a pebble tray which is kept moist will create a micro climate around the plant, and assist with plant growth.
