Rayman's Powers

Rayman's powers are given to him by Betilla the Fairy. You can only gain access to them after completing a certain stage or defeating a boss.

Rayman's Punching power sure packs a punch

Punching Power - The first of Rayamn's powers, it's handy if you want to break some cages open or sock some enemies in the gut. For a longer, more powerful punch, press and hold down the action button. Don't forget to release!

 

Hanging Power - Useful if you happen to be falling and want a hold somewhere. Caution: It only works if you're close to a platform. HINT: The hanging power's pretty useful in the magician's bonus levels.

Grappling Power - Woo-hah! Think Spiderman as you swing your way through the levels. Shoot Rayman's fist through a pink hoop and watch 'im swing. Beware the red hooks, though, they only last a while.

 

Rayman's flying powers allow him to coast over region of water for a short whileFlying Power - I believe I can fly... I believe I can touch the sky... well, not quite. Hitting the jump button twice gives you access to his flying powers. Buoyancy lasts for about two seconds in the norm mode; longer, if you keep hitting the action button, when you have the super flying potion.

Running Power - The JOY OF RUNNING!!! Trust me, you want to scream when the enmy's on your heels and all you can do is WALK. Use the running power to speed you up on steep slides, or for long-distance jumping.
