Im 22 years old, and am half way through my third year at Liverpool university, where I'm studying for a BA (batchelor of arts)in philosophy.

Between 2000 and 2002 I studied Biology.  I passed the first two years of my course, but hated it so much that I just had to quit.  So I thought about something else I could do, cos i didn't want to actually quit university for good.  So I asked if I could do philosophy, and they said yes.  So here I am.  Last year I was in the second year in the philosophy department, and took knowledge and scientific discovery, philosophy of religion, metaphysics, logic and philosophy of mind.

This semester, I'm in third year, and  I'm taking "Kant and After", "Aesthetics" and "Philosophy of Language"  I love philosophy of language, and aesthetics too.  Not too sure about the Kant module, but I'm sure ill still do alright.

I have to write a 10,000 word dissertation this year too.  The subject I'm writing on is; "The Nature of God.  (No, really!)"

Its basically going to be a piece of writing setting out my own theory of the nature of God.  I believe that the being people refer to as God, the being necessary for the existence of the universe, the infinite and eternal God, is in fact the universe itself.  Or rather, the non physical substance of the universe, the space which the universe is contained within.  Without the universe, without all contingent things, the universe as empty space would still exist.  Of cause this can never be proved, because to do so would mean you hat to be in the empty universe to observe it, so you would not be in an empty universe.
