Welcome to the Hartshill School RE Department web pages.

In The Gallery you can look at some work produced by students.

There are pages for students in each year to look at. These pages give some details about the work being studied and also some useful web links to sites for homework and independent study.

If you find some good sites that you think could be included in the links on this site, please let me know in school or by emailing me (see links on all pages).

Hopefully, I will soon have time to add details about homework, so that students can check on here that they are up to date with their homework tasks.

Our Mission

The RE Department strives to provide a calm, caring and stimulating learning environment wherein each student can achieve his or her best potential regardless of ability or background.

The RE Department aims to create opportunities for the intellectual, personal and social development of all students, so that they may realize their full potential and become responsible and fulfilled members of the school, the community and the rapidly changing society around them.

In the RE Department success is sought after and celebrated at every level. Students are encouraged to be positive about learning and partake in the responsibility for their learning. With this in mind, the individual talents of each student are nurtured and cherished.

The RE Department seeks to enable students to become responsible and outward-looking members of society mindful of and sensitive to the different needs, thinking and values of all members of the community.
