Short Course GCSE

The exam:

The exam paper is divided into 10 sections; one unit per page.

You HAVE NOT studied all ten units. You will only be answering 3* or 4* questions on the final paper.

Here are the units you have studied:

Human Relationships (Christianity) Unit 6

bullet

Medical Ethics (Christianity) Unit 7

 

Here are the units you will be studying:

Good and Evil (Christianity) Unit 5 (Mrs C's groups)

 

*Those who enter the Coursework option will sit a 1hour 30 minute exam paper and answer 3 questions.

*Those who enter without coursework will sit a 2 hour paper and answer 4 questions from the units studied.

Abortion
Many see Abortion as a Sanctity of Life issue. It can be a very emotional issue.

Euthanasia
Another very topical and controversial issue. Many people believe that a terminally ill patient, suffering and in a great deal of pain, should be allowed the chance to end their life with dignity. Others say that all life is sacred, and that doctors cannot take responsibility for the ending of life.
