Enjoy a heart warming tale from Trevor Cook and how he got into biking, it includes buying the same type of bike his father rode in WWII and a passion for two wheels spanning too many machines to mention.

Not content with short rides there is also a trip to France on the Bullet 500.

We got wet again but it did not spoil the day and some of us threw caution to the wind and ate ice cream.

The latest Branch Report has been posted and gives many examples of the sort of thing we get up to as a club.

The trip to Mudeford found us all parked cheek by jowel with forty to fifty brightly decorated scooters and my first thoughts was "oh goodness!" its the Mods and Rockers at Mudeford but everyone was very friendly and it was a very relaxed day out by the sea.

The site content has not changed for a while because I have been hunched-up over my laptop busy in the backroom, banging away to produce the latest evolution of the site.

A number of changes have occured, the most obvious is the new look. Less obvious are the menu changes such as For Sale, which alas sold nothing and has been removed. Also the Whats On feature has now moved to Been There.

New to the site is the Wilts Rallies because we are soon to have our second rally and appears to be fast becoming a feature, which is marvelous for such a young club.

Our Branch Reports are still here but under Club Reports where you can read what we report to our colleagues in the Royal Enfield Owners Club magazine The Gun.

So I hope you like the new site layout and enjoy the content and should you have any comments just use the Contact page to drop a line.

From January 2007 we shall meet at a new venue, called The White Hart like the old one. Its details are The White Hart, Oxford Road, Stratton St Margaret, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 4JD.

Also we have synchronised our diaries and the Meetings and Runs web pages have been updated. We hope to provide details of where will ride to in due course.
