Welcome and Introduction

Hi! Welcome to the Gunz Online International Server Tutorial.

The objective of this website is to be a newbie guide for new GunZ Online players.

When you start off, it sure is a bit difficult to be a newbie. You are new to this online game and fiddling with the controls, while everyone is taking you out easily and mocking you, thus ruining your Gunz Online experience. A lot of people even seem to think that a newbie is something worse than a human being. Well, some can be immature and annoying, but not all of them.

Everyone starts off as a newbie, and this simple website will give new players the information they might need to be part of the GunZ Online community.

SoCoOLz has posted links in a forum to people who want to check if the GunZ Online server is up or not. It contains server status php code made by Joss, SoCoOLz and DarkNations.

Apparently Maketa on the onRPG.com forums has found pictures of the quest monsters and put them in a zip file for all of you to see. The quests are estimated to be implemented in the International Server in November. It is said that the quest system is currently going under beta testing in the Korean Servers.

Choose a section from the side menu

  1. Home - You are basically here now. It could possibly contain news next time. Might even contain a check server status indicator.

  2. Overview - A brief overview on what is this game all currently about.

  3. Getting Started - The basic guide to how and where to download the client, register account and login.

  4. Tutorial - A walkthrough that covers interfaces. Covers creating and deleting characters, Lobby Interfaces, Game Room Interfaces, In Game interface and Options.

  5. Movement Controls - A guide to show basic movement controls, as well as advanced techniques such as wall running.

  6. Combat Controls - A guide to teach the newbie how to do basic combat with the weapons in the game.

  7. Weapons Database - A description of the weapons in the game, rating, and database of available weapons

  8. Armor Database - Lists all the armor in the game, along with stats and graphics.

  9. Maps - Shows what maps are in the game and where are fighting spots and health/defense/bullet packs are

  10. Strategy - Learn a few techniques that you can use to have a slight advantage over your opponents, honourable or dishonourable.

  11. FAQ - Frequently asked questions such as "Is this game free forever?" or "How come I can't log in?"

  12. Links - A page full of GunZ Online related pages.
