River's Tip's

Fishing in General :

  1. Do take care of where you are casting incase you catch someone passing you by.
  2. Do take spare line home with you, respect the wildlife.
  3. Do not fish directly accross another fishermans line.
  4. Have some respect for your fellow anglers.
  5. Close all gates when crossing fields.
  6. Lighting fire's can be dangerous and can spread quickly.
  7. Take your rubbish home with you.
  8. Always stick to the rules of the Association.

 

Wading tip's :

  1. Never wade in murky.
  2. Always use a wading stick or staff to find the depth of the river before you take the next step.
  3. Carry a small pen knife or pair of Scissors in your top pocket incase you fall in with your waders on & have to cut your waders off.
  4. Only wade in water you Know.
  5. If the water look's weedy take care of your step. The weed in the river kelvin can be quite slippy.
