25/9/2002 - ronan is one of the clean cut

In a recent poll conducted by Internet firm, Blueyonder, Ronan was voted as one of the clean-cut artists in pop! He got a total of four percent. Sir Cliff Richard and Barry Manilow were the top of the poll amongst the public in this poll! Also to make it in the votes were Pop Idol finalists, Will Young and Gareth Gates (both pictured left), former Take That member, Gary Barlow and Britney Spears.

22/9/2002 - we've got tonight is ro's next single!

It has been officially announced that Ronan's next UK single release will be 'We've Got Tonight' to be released on 25th November 2002! This version features Lulu (pictured right) and is also featured on Lulu's recent album, 'Together'. The song, 'We've Got Tonight' is a cover version of Bob Seger's (pictured left) song which he wrote on his multi-platinum album, 'Strangers In Town' in 1978.

15/9/2002 - i love it when we do is a top 5 hit!

I LOVE IT WHEN WE DO REACHES NUMBER 5!
It was tough competition this week as Ronan was up against the likes of Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, Kelly Osbourne and Scooter for the number 1 spot. Nevertheless, thanks to you the fans, you got Ronan a top 5 hit as his single, 'I Love It When We Do' reached a convincing number 5 in the UK charts. Well done to Ronan for getting yet a another hit! Atomic Kitten took the crown of number 1 yet again for the third week, this week for their single, 'The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)' and many congratulations goes to them!

Despite that, Ronan managed to beat off competition from former Pop Idol, Sarah Whatmore whose single, 'When I Lost You' entered at number 6. Also Ronan fought out the Sugababes, Appleton and Milk Inc. whose single, 'Walk On Water' entered at number 10. Here's the top 10 in detail this week:

We now have further details of Ronan's forthcoming video and DVD. The video and DVD entitled 'Ronan Live: Destination Wembley '02' will be released on 25th November 2002. It was recorded live at Wembley Arena, London, UK on 13th July 2002 and features songs from his latest album, 'Destination' as well as some classics like 'Life Is A Rollercoaster'.
