'LAST THING ON MY MIND' IS A TOP 5 HIT!
After competition in the UK singles chart this week, Ronan and LeAnn Rimes latest single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' has entered the UK Number 5 chart position!  We would like to congratulate Ronan and LeAnn for achieving this chart position!  This means that Ronan gets his eleventh consecutive top 10 hit!  Well done to everyone who got this single which just goes to show that Ronan is still going strong and the huge fan support is still there, so thanks everybody!  Even more fantastic news is that Ronan's latest album, 'Turn It On' has gone up the UK albums chart at No.22!  Keep it up everyone, who knows, it may even enter the top 20 doing better when it debuted at No.21 next week - so come everyone, get the album (and single) if you haven't already done so!!!  The final UK top 10 singles chart is listed below:

'LAST THING ON MY MIND' - THE NEW SINGLE OUT NOW!

2/5/2004 - going live in belfast!

Ronan was one of many acts who performed in Belfast's city centre, N. Ireland yesterday (1st May 2004).  The Beautiful Night concert saw a crowd of 18,000 people watch Irish acts perform fantastic tunes on what was a relatively dry night!  This event is part of BBC's Music Live Festivals lasting 11 days and for many are free to see!  Classic Irish tunes were on all night and Ronan performed in duet with lead singer of Hothouse Flowers, Liam O'Maonai to sing the classic Van Morrison tune, 'Bright Side Of The Road'.  There were many other acts present including Westlife, Ash, Brian Kennedy, Alanis Morissette and even Ronan's pal Shane Lynch was present at this spectacular event!  The event was also televised on BBC1 (UK) live on the night [Picture source: BBC].

26/4/2004 - a week until the new release!

'LAST THING ON MY MIND' - THE NEW SINGLE OUT 3RD MAY 2004!
It's only a week to go until Ronan's single release, 'Last Thing On My Mind' featuring country singer, LeAnn Rimes out 3rd May 2004 (next Monday!).  Released on CD, the single will feature remixes plus the video to 'Last Thing On My Mind'.  This is a totally re-recorded version of the tune co-written by Ronan and is different to the 'Turn It On' album version.  For more information about 'Last Thing On My Mind', check our Singles Discography.

23/4/2004 - ronan plays in the park

Ronan has confirmed that he will be performing in Kent's Party In The Park!  The Invicta FM Festival will held at the Hop Farm Country Park, Paddock Wood, Kent, UK on 23rd May 2004. 22/4/2004 - last thing on my mind - gets radio 2 airplay!

Ronan's forthcoming new single 'Last Thing On My Mind' with country singer, LeAnn Rimes has been added to BBC Radio 2's playlist (UK) - in fact it has been placed on the A-List which means it will get maximum play every day!  So make sure you listen to BBC Radio 2 everyday for this track.  And what's more, many music websites have published the track listings to the single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' out on 3rd May 2004 (under two weeks to go!).  The single will be on 1 CD and contains exclusive remixes and the video to 'Last Thing On My Mind'!  For more information, check out our updated Singles Discography right now!  But get ready for this brilliant release!

22/4/2004 - boyzone get-together?

It appears to be going on and on, but on Wednesday (20th April) during a conference for the launch of a charity Golf challenge in aid for the charities Irish Alliance Autism and the Marie Keating Foundation, Ronan spoke and said that he would like to reunite with Boyzone and do one more tour.  Speaking to RTÉ, Ronan said that the band has actually never formally split up.  There are no plans yet of a full Boyzone reunion but the Boyz together said that they are all friends and one day may record an album together or perhaps do some farewell tour.  We all look forward in hearing something like that soon!

21/4/2004 - boyz play golf!

After the emotional reunion on The Games last Thursday, ex-Boyzone member, Keith Duffy was in Dublin, Ireland , yesterday (20th April) to launch a charity Golf challenge in aid for the charities Irish Alliance Autism and the Marie Keating Foundation and to make that launch special, he was joined by the other Boyzone members, Ronan, Stephen, Mikey and The Games 2004 winner, Shane!  The Boyz except Shane arrived by helicopter to the event and Shane arrived later after his flight delay, but nevertheless they were together and had clearly resolved their differences and are once again the best of friends! 19/4/2004 - shane wins the games!

Ronan's pal and ex-Boyzone mate, Shane Lynch won The Games 2004 on what was an exciting night last Saturday (17th April)!  The final two events were exciting and Shane had done well in both events.  The Javelin was excellent with Shane taking the points and winning the event as well, then it was over to the 100m and even though he came third, he actually was joint winners with Mr Gay UK (pictured far left) who along with Shane both took Gold medals and were joint first and taking the Bronze was So Solid member, Romeo!  In the women's event, Lady Isabella Hervey (pictured middle) took the Gold medal just pipping at the end from 95.8 Capital FM DJ and ex-Blue Peter presenter, Katy Hill who took the silver.  The Bronze went to Ground Force's Charlie Dimmock who was delighted with the result!  We would like to congratulate Shane on this win and this sporting event has just shown how great Shane Lynch has become with everyone.  A kind gentle person and the Boyzone reunion that took place last Thrusday (15th April) was extra special - well done Shane!

17/4/2004 - playing the boyzone games!

Did anyone watch The Games (on Channel 4, UK) on Thursday evening (15th April)?  Well if you did you would have seen something special.  Ex-member Shane Lynch was one of the celebrities taking part in a mini-Olympics style event that sees several members play several sporting events to win money for their selected charities!  The event of the evening was the Vault and Shane won the competition!  But he was not aware that the other members of Boyzone, Stephen Gately, Ronan, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy were cheering him on!  It was not until after that Shane was surprised to see the other lads after four and a half years and for him it was an emotional moment.  Speaking to Jayne Middlemiss (pictured far left with Boyzone), the lads of Boyzone showed their support to Shane.  Ronan said: "We're just here to support him [Shane] and he's done a great job all week.  It's great to be here, it's a fantastic reunion."   Keith was asked if Shane was brave and strong when he was in Boyzone, he said: "Yes, he always was and he's been misunderstood in Ireland a few times.  Everybody in Ireland is going to realise the real Shane Lynch, the beautiful man he is."  Shane was asked how he felt about seeing the other lads: "I couldn't believe I'd see the lads.  I cried a few minutes ago, I'm still a bit emotional.  Good to see the boys."  We will support Shane Lynch for the rest of this contest and hope he wins the competition and wish him all the very best! 

14/4/2004 - last thing on my mind - official details!

Just as we told you yesterday that the info we got was unofficial, we can now confirm that most details are now official!  The single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' featuring LeAnn Rimes will be released on 3rd May 2004!  The artwork shown to the left is final and the single will be released on just 1 CD (and likely a cassette too) for this particular release.  There is no official confirmation of the tracklistings just yet, the info we gave yesterday is provisional and may not be the final track list.  We will have more details over the next few days but this release is another exciting one and a beautiful tune it is too!  But for now, check out the video on the TV music channel, The Box, number 127!  Keep coming back to Ronan Keating World for all the latest as more info is still to come!!!

We are getting unconfirmed and unofficial details about Ronan's forthcoming new single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' featuring LeAnn Rimes.  Firstly here's the artwork of what the single may look like.  In addition, we have tracklistings to the single which appears to be just 1 CD and includes remixes and the video to 'Last Thing On My Mind'.  Also, the release date is likely to be 3rd May 2004 although this hasn't been officially confirmed.  The details of this single release is listed below.  As soon as formal details come to light, we'll tell you here at Ronan Keating World, so be sure to come back soon.

5/4/2004 - on the run!

Ronan took part in the BUPA Great Fun Run in Dublin, Ireland over the weekend.  The run was 10k long and Ronan managed to complete it in an impressive 42 minutes!  Well done

2/4/2004 - check out the last thing on my mind video!

The video for Ronan's forthcoming new single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' can now be seen on the TV music channel, The Box!  The number you need in 127!  The video shot in Nashville, Tennessee, USA (home of Country music), also features LeAnn Rimes who duets with Ronan in this release!  Check it out and see what you think!!!  There is an unconfirmed release date for 3rd May 2004 at the moment, but as soon as more information about the single comes to light, we'll tell you here at Ronan Keating World.

1/4/2004 - turn it on tour comes to germany!

It just been announced that Ronan will be doing some gigs in Germany as part of his 'Turn It On' Tour!  The shows will take place in October this year.  The dates announced are listed below.

According to some sources, the next new single, 'Last Thing On My Mind' may be released on 3rd May 2004.  This is completely unconfirmed and the release is still some time away.  The song is in duet with country singer, LeAnn Rimes.  We are awaiting details of this exciting new release and as soon as more information comes to light, we'll tell you here at Ronan Keating World, so come back soon!!!

28/3/2004 - more tour dates added!

22/3/2004 - ronan in for capital award!

Ronan has been nominated in the Best International Male Artist category in this year's 95.8 Capital FM Awards for Help A London Child taking place in April (more details will be posted in due course).  The only way Ronan has a chance to win this award is if you, the fans, vote for him!  It's easy to do so, just visit the 95.8 Capital FM Awards website by clicking here and nominate Ronan - it's as simple as that!!!

11/3/2004 - new single announced!

News has just come in about Ronan's next single release!  He will be releasing 'Last Thing On My Mind' - the third single to be taken off 'Turn It On'.  This beautiful tune penned by Ronan is in duet with Country singing star, LeAnn Rimes (also featured on her 'The Best Of' album).  Ronan will be shooting the video for 'Last Thing On My Mind' next week in Nashville, USA.  There is no official confirmed release date as yet, but as soon as more info comes in, we'll tell you here at Ronan Keating World - so come back soon!!!

3/3/2004 - turn it on climbs in the UK charts!

It's been a bit quiet at the moment for Ronan, but he'll be soon taking a debut acting role for the film, 'Guns, Money and Home Cooking'.  But here's some good news!  Since the good promotion of Ronan's single, 'She Believes (In Me)' which entered at No.2 some time ago, the album, 'Turn It On' has been moving up in the UK albums chart, it reentered the top 75 three weeks ago and has been scaling the chart, it moved to 40 the previous week and entered 26 this week making it a top 30 album!  If this sets to continue, it could be the first time a Ronan album gets a higher chart position since its debut of 21!  So come on!  If you haven't got Ronan's album yet, get it, because it is probably one of Ronan's best album to date!!!
