Our next concert

Sing Hallelujah!

at Groton Church, Suffolk

This year, the Kelvedon Singers present their concert in celebration of Christmas at Groton Church, about a mile north of Boxford, which is just off the A1071, halfway between Hadleigh and Sudbury. The concert's title "Sing Hallelujah" was chosen to reflect the number of times the word crops up in the selected programme, which includes Rheinberger's enchanting "Nine Advent Carols" and an excerpt from Handel's Messiah (including - surprise! surprise! - the Alleluia Chorus) During the second half of the programme, the choir will sing a selection of old and new Christmas Carols and there will be an opportunity for the audience to join us to sing some favourite carols.

Ticket price is £10 to include mulled wine and mince pies during the interval.
