Wednesday 2.00 - 4 00pm We are a small group of retired people who meet on Wednesday's in term time to study and to use this International language. We correspond with groups in Poland, Cuba, Iran and Latvia and hope to extend this network. On the fourth Thursday in the month we meet at Kingswinford Community Centre at 7.30pm when others at work can join us. We do not meet at Robin Woods Centre on that Wednesday. Learners are especially welcome at our meetings.

George Formby Society
Tuesday 7.30 - 9 30pm The Stourbridge branch which started at the Robin Woods Centre was founded by Malcolm Palmer in December 1991. The idea came from a series of annual one day meetings that were held at the Stourbridge Institute, Market street and to keep in line with other branch meetings held in other parts of the country. Meetings at Stourbridge are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month commencing at 7.30 - 930pm. There is no age limit although members who attend are from 20years onwards. A concert held in the allotted time and tuition is available for anyone who is just learning the ukelele. Main meetings of the George Formby Society are held over a week end in Blackpool of which there are four held in March, June, September and November.
Stourbridge SKUGB Karate Club
Tuesday 7.15 - 9 30pm The club teaches traditional Shokotan karate. The club has been established since 1987 at the Robin Woods Centre, under the expert direction of its two instructors, Graham Handy and Gill Smith. Students consist of all age groups ranging from 7 to 60 plus. It is an ideal way to learn a great deal about self defence as well as keeping students supple and fit. It also develops self confidence, self discipline and co-ordination skills for all age groups and abilities.To ensure that all Shotokan Karate Union (SKU) clubs maintain a high quality of instructors. All SKU club instructors must have attained Black Belt 1st Dan or over and must also have passed the SKU Level 1 Coaching Award Scheme. This is a mandatory minimum qualification. This is your assurance that you will receive the very best quality tuition. 2 classes are run on Tuesday evenings at the Robin Woods Centre 7.00 - 7 45pm Women and children beginners class. 8.00 - 9.00pm Advanced and male beginners class

and encourage each other in the gentle art of writing poetry and prose.
Midlands Spaceflight Society
Friday 7.30 - 10 00pm
Founded in 1990, MSS is an informal group of spaceflight enthusiasts who
share space news and information about exhibitions, talks, events,
merchandise, etc, in the Midlands, in the UK and in Europe.
The Society meets on the second Friday of alternate months at the Robin
Woods Centre, Stourbridge from 730pm. There is a small door fee to cover
room hire. The meetings are not suitable for children. We encourage everyone
to give a talk on their specialist subject or a visit they have made to a site of spaceflight significance. The MSS produces an excellent bimonthly newsletter,
CapCom. Anyone can receive the newsletter by for £5 for a 1 year subscription.
