Thanks to everyone who came down to the Albany on Sat May 5 to celebrate five years of Rock'n'RollSoul. Despite stiff competition from the Crossfire all-nighter across the road, it was good to see you keeping the faith with the unique charms of the Albany cellar bar and our little club night's unique mix of soul that rocks and rock with soul. Fortunately (because we're so lax at updating this site), it won't be long before you can shake what you brought all over again, as Rock'n'RollSoul returns to the Albany on Saturday June 2. Turn up early to bag the best tables and gain admission for the frankly 2002 price of £3. Or, if you insist on staying upstairs drinking Leffe and listening to Simply Red, expect to pay a still-ridiculously handsome £5 (£4 with flyers).
And, if you can't make it at all this month, don't forget you can always tune in to our podcasts - as heard in Turkey, Australia and the headphones of London Underground's grooviest passengers (they're the ones with the Rock'n'RollSoul badges).
