Ugly Kid Joe Shannon Larkin joined this band from Souls At Zero in 1994. They produced the very famous 'Cats In The Cradle' song, which you will probably have heard at some point, even if you can't remember it. The first Ugly Kid Joe release featuring Shannon was 'Menace To Sobriety', released on June 1995. The lineup for that album was Shannon (drums), Whitfield Crane (vocals), Klaus Eichstadt (guitars), Dave Fortman (guitars) and Cordell Crockett (bass). The album was produced by Gggarth Richardson and Ugly Kid Joe, and was recorded at Palacio del Rio, Santa Ynez, California, USA and A&M Studios, Hollywood, California, USA. Whitman said of Shannon, "'Shannon has taken us to the next level". 'Menace To Sobriety' was released on Mercury Recordings, and features the tracks:
