Two early goals by LAWRIE SAGAR got Village off to a flying start and helped the rest of the team settle down and play some exciting football despite heavy rain throughout the first half Further goals from BEN ROGERS and LEWIS BROOKES-BAKER gave Village a four goal advantage at the break .The second half saw PANTHERS net early on following a lapse of concentration in the Village defense. Half way through the second half JACK BAKER grabbed two more goals for Village both headed in from corners. A penalty awarded to PANTHERS was well held by goalkeeper NICHOLAS SEAGER on his debut for Village to deny them of a second goal. A crashing shot from twenty yards out by defender RYAN KENSETT saw the bar rattle, as did two further efforts from the Village forwards. The last goal for Village saw MARK HOWARD chip the ball high into the net following a one on one with the keeper .M.O.T.M. NICHOLAS SEAGER.
