The following images are available for download to use as backgrounds on your Windows desktop. Unlike the rest of the photos on the site, they have been resized so that they are not distorted when stretched to fit the size and proportions of the desktop, and are of a higher file quality. All are © Chris Woodall.

Instructions
Each of the thumbnail pictures below shows the desktop on my machine (the picture you download will not have the desktop icons already on it!!). The bus is not obstructed in the view if you have no more than about two columns of icons on the left hand side of your desktop.

1. Right click on the thumbnail of the image you want to use.
2. Choose "Save target as" from the menu that appears.
3. Select a location on you computer's hard drive - you may wish to create a new folder to contain background pictures.
4. Choose save. The picture may take a minute or so to download - it is about 300 KB.
