  • Welcome to my page. As you may have guessed, as well as being the bassist I am also responsible for this little lot. That is probably why you will find my page constantly changing and the others not! (well got that of my chest now they will probably snow me under with change requests).

Anyway, now more about me. I come from a musical background; my father played piano with a trad jazz band of some repute back in the 1960's called 'Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen'. My father was responsible for arranging most the of mega hits that the band had, as he was the only one with any formal musical training. Guess what, I'm the only one in this band with any formal musical training (blow me own trumpet or what). I would like to arrange our mega hits but we probably won't have any.

My main hobby is MUSIC, both playing and goin' to gigs. My tastes in music range from original early seventies heavy metal (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath) through to recent power pop bands such as The Wildhearts and others. I also ride a very large Triumph Motor Bike and belong to the Ogri Motor Cycle Club (we are not angels and we are not ANGELS!).

My favourite live act has to be John Otway. I have followed this bloke from the seventies, when he had his hit. The Sadders were fortunate enough to have supported him in the past (please see gigography when is finally gets posted). This man is well worth seeing live!!!
There will be more of this drivel added later..........

Whilst waiting what about some midi files:

    Am I Evil
    Metallica did this on 'Garage'.
    Breadfan
Metallica covered this 'Budgie' song on 'Garage'.
    Enter Sandman
The BIGGEST metal song of the 90's.
    King Nothing
    What a bass line...
    Nothing Else Matters
This works well as a midi file.
    Sad But True
One day all metal bands will play this song - including us.
    Seek And Destroy
Classic Metallica song stuffed by being midi'd.
    Until It Sleeps
Another great bass line - listen to 'LOAD' learn bass.
