ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY OF GIBRALTAR

Wine & Haggis Tasting Evening; Friday September 28th, 7.30 p.m. Adults, £5; kids under 12, £2.50

About 60 people came along to the family barbecue held at the Queensway Club swimming pool - and a good time was had all round.

So for the next event we thought we'd try and combine the two things Scots seem to like best - drinking and haggis. Tragically, we couldn't con anyone into providing us with a whisky tasting evening (although we hold out hope for next year), but we've got a chef who can make us four different kinds of haggis (reputedly, including an edible vegetarian version), and Wines Direct have recommended some good wines to complement the haggis-desecrated palate, so we should have a tastefully tasty evening. We'll even have some soft drinks available!

If you've got any queries, just ask:

Tim Turner 76206
Andrew & Sandra Licudi 79144

We'll be setting up in the patio between 7.00 and 7.30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, 28th September; so we look forward to seeing you then!

Regards

Tim Turner, pp Carol Maxwell, who is off swimming with dolphins, somewhere sunny.
