Portugal

I figured Portugal's geographic location made it a bit like a dead end street. The perfect place to start a long road trip outwards and being Southerly, warm enough where February wouldn't be fatally cold.
Portugal retains a special place in my memory - the first days: excitement to passionately live and explore with an open mind and almost unlimited time. I gave much thought if I would regret leaving my 'comfortable' life back home. To this day, my regrets are none.
