David Ogden(50)

-David is Ex Royal Navy and now works as a Cost
Controller for Elf Exploration UK in Peterhead Scotland.
His main interests centre on ships and the sea, he is a
keen sailor, former sailing instructor and past Olympic
trialist in the Finn class, He is never afraid of a
challenge and has windsurfed 100 Miles to a North Sea
Oil Platform for charity. During his time in the Navy
he was a cross-country Champion. Inspired to competed
in the inaugural Elf Authentique Aventure in the
Philippines as a member of Team 16 - Elf Exploration UK

Karina Bacha (21)

- Karina, is a Physical Education student from Sao Paulo, Brazil. she has been training for adventure racing since 1997 and has already competed in seven events. Her local knowledge will be put to good use by the ground team.

Trish Lee(35)

-Trish is A San Francisco Fire Department firefighter and employment law attorney. She grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. Always athletic, sports interests have varied from volleyball and Frisbee, through road racing, triathlon to adventure racing in Eco Challenge 1996 and white water rafting at international level. She has worldwide experience of sea kayaking, mountain biking, sailing and diving.

Rob Lambert(42)

- "Primus" as he likes to be known is a ex-Army, turned
Adventure Trainer from Darlington, England. He has an
excellent background in Ultra running holding British
and European records for 300 and 150 Miles, cycling,
white water rafting and pretty much anything adventurous
including bungi jumping! He has organised and competed
in a number of events in Britian and USA including Salomon
Adventure race,Eco Challenge in Utah, Badwater and Death Valley 300.

Judy Yandoh (49)

- Judy, is District Ranger on the Amador Ranger District,
Eldorado National Forest in California. She brings to the team a
great deal of logistics and planning experience and will be in
charge of the Logistics Team for the event.

Andrew Henley(27)

- Henley, another team member from Darlington, a talented
Athlete having competed with Primus in the Salomon event
he has experience of adventure sports with qualifications
in canoeing, mountaineering and diving. He will be forming
part of the logistics team with a view to competing as a
member of a ground team in future events.

Irena Kostromine (29)

- Irena, the final logistics team member has been working in Brazil for the past two years at the French Embassy and enjoys the outdoors and has participated in the Lyonaisse Raid in France.
