Ebbw Vale is a town built on steel. Its history is all about heavy industry and producing for other, but now faces a bleak future with the closure of the Corus Steel plant.

After decades of building for others, it s now the town to regenerate and reclaim some of its former glories.

This web site was created as part of my final year University project, entitled CUV Project. I choose to research the history of Ebbw Vale and study hows its changing landscape and economic fortunes have affectd the town and what the future holds for the former Steel powerhouse.
