Religion and cross dressing

I am no expert on cross dressing ....not on religion either. This is a place where we can view our own interpretation of a subject. This is mine, if you got another view please submit it.

I was brought up in a religious environment and because of my religious upbringing it was always in my mind that any sexual or gender related subject was a sin if not "normal".

According to the holy Bible it was a sin to wear clothing of the opposite gender,Det. 22:5( a man shall not wear women's clothing neither shall a woman wears men's clothing.) It went on for years, me living with this sin. A sin to me just because I think it was one. Because of that I started drifting away from religion. My thought was that if I keep on trespassing one law there was no sense in keeping the other laws of the Bible......I was doomed. As the years past I start thinking more and more about this problem of religion and wearing feminine clothing. At last I came to the conclusion that it was no sin

......."No sin,how is that possible the Bible forbids it!!".

I agree, forbidding a man to wears woman's clothing and a woman wearing men clothing but when you mentally change from one gender to the other I feel that you only have the body of a man but psychological you are a woman. Would it not now be a sin to wear the clothing of a man? Who is the most important the body or the soul? Simple as that. Maybe too simple. Many will say that it is the wrong way of thinking. Wrong way, right way makes no difference, it works for me. I am able to practice my religion without the fear that I am doomed forever because of one law. People like to hammer on that one verse to doom a transgendered person but while doing so trespass themselves another law which say that you are not allowed to wear clothing of two different fibers. Polyester and cotton ??. Jesus never condemned any transgendered people in the new testament. St. Paul did but as far as I am concerned he was just another preacher who admit that he also had a thorn in his flesh.

Just a last word: Remember that Jesus take you just as you are. Not as the people want you to be.
