My name is Pete Miller and I dwell in Texas. I like to listen to songs and play them. I think if I had a blues name, it would be "Cranky Pete Miller" unless I can find a way to overcome my cowardice and blind myself. I am a freshman at my local junior college and plan to attend the University of North Texas majoring in English and minoring in Music (probably theory if they will teach me to read music.) I like to write and if I have time watch shows or movies. I love the show Rome; it is the only show to which I am faithful. If I watch anything else, it is The Andy Griffith Show, Roseanne or an old western. My brother is currently training for Army Intelligence and I treasure his returns home. I have a bizarre story of my rearing and how I ended up meeting him if anyone is interested. I am extremely interested in girls. None of them are interested in me. Unless they are too interested of me. I am a founding member of Linguistic Reform. I'll link to the site when it is created. It is a very shady club, so it may be a while. My faith is the most important part of my life. I am a Pentecostal, so I reside at church. I think the gospel music does me well, though.
I'm in the league of Herman in that occasionally I band together with other hermits and sing a few tunes. I am currently in The Townsmen--a folk rock group that takes influence from Donovan and The Byrds. It is really me and my friend James recording songs and hopefully we can get a few guys to join us and play live. The song Washed Away is written by James and he plays and sings, except the high parts on the guitar. I also play from time to time in The Skunk Five. There has never been a fifth member, though. It is my parents and our friend Tim. I took two songs that Tim likes and removed the vocals and replaced his voice to send to Columbia for a demo. It's a lot of fun when we do it.
The first song is me playing the lead guitar with a blues bland at what used to be The Muse. I sat in with a regular band and during this part I am playing the lead.
I also made a flash birthday card for Keren Ann that I am quite proud of here.
Friends of mine made a movie in high school called Death of a Dictator. All the information needed is on the previous link.
