SGC-Tek
This site contains LabVIEW Custom Controls and LabVIEW software which can be used to enhance your projects.
The controls are almost all native LabVIEW controls rather than Active X elements to ensure reliability and portability. Each LabVIEW Custom control has sample code attached to demonstrate operation of the control.
Also included is an example build structure of the variable types required, to enable you to develop your own code to drive the custom control if you need functionality not bundled in the included modules.
Please select links on the left for the area you are interested in.

If you see some code that can be improved, don't forget to drop us a line, but also please remember that sometimes the coding decisions taken are to enable presentation of a clear example. (Still if you know an ace tweak, drop us a line ) Our email address is included in the VI's to stop 'web harvesting and junk mail'

All LabVIEW code, LabVIEW examples and LabVIEW Custom controls presented here have been tested and operate with Labiew versions 6.1, LabVIEW 7.0, 7.1 and LabVIEW 8.0. {Testing with 8.5 will start soon} (In principal there is no reason that conversion to previous revisions is not possible and in some cases the original version was deployed under previous revisions).

People Like You
Well here are a few (possibly usefull) facts about visitors to our site who presumably are a little like you, in that you use LabVIEW. From 2004 to 2006 poeple have upgraded thier monitors to 1280 x 1024 pixels, about 45% now use this resolution. Looks like 1600 x 1200 is the next upgrade to get. People have changed browsers from Internet Explorer usage of 80% in 2004, down to 60% in 2006 or, as you can bash statics any way you want; Netscape usage has more than doubled!! We assume therefore like us your using Firefox, we hope you saw the link here first? Welcome also to the couple of guys using Opera, good to see you. Does the site look OK? drop us a line. Most people are using Labview 7.1 at the start of 2006 having upgraded from 6.1 in 2004 and only legacy projects appear to be using previous revisions. Supprisingly most of our visitors are European, that is (in a sort of order) Italien, French, American, English, German to the other ends of the planet... literally it would appear. Ciao, Bonjour, Hallo, Hola.......... basically Hi to everyone!!. We are seeing a doubling of visitors each year (those statistics again) and we are starting to think forward about the bandwidth usage for the site, it's a nice problem to have to be concerned about. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year, we hope you enjoy using the site.
