THURSDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2008. SANDWELL GROUP AGM. West Bromwich Labour Club 7.30pm
This is your Group and your opportunity to contribute towards the running of the Group by giving your views and suggestions. We have vacancies on the Committee that need filling. Please do your best to attend

SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2008. STAFFS AREA AGM hosted by Wolverhampton Group at Staffs District Council Offices, Codsall, Staffs commencing at 2pm. The meeting will be preceded by a 5 miles walk. Meet as usual at West Bromwich Labour Club 9am. Let’s see a good attendance – we usually manage to outnumber other groups. Bring packed lunch.

SATURDAY 13 DECEMBER 2008. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER/DANCE at Sandwell Park Golf Club, 7pm. Music by Basil’s Disco. A chance to celebrate Christmas in the company of all your friends from SGRA. Tickets £20 per person. Contact Val Figg to book on 01922 496686

THURSDAY 8 JANUARY 2009. MEMBERS’ NEW YEAR SUPPER at West Bromwich Labour Club. Celebrate the New Year with refreshments and DVD of past year’s weekends and events.

THURSDAY 16 APRIL 2009. PRE EASTBOURNE MEETING. 8pm at West Bromwich Labour Club. To finalise arrangements for the weekend away in May at the Majestic Hotel. Ken & Margaret will advise you about the events.

Social meetings (unless otherwise stated) take place at the West Bromwich Labour Club (Tel 553 1091), Sandwell Road, West Bromwich (A/Z page 57 1F). There is ample car parking space. Cheques for tickets etc. should be forwarded to Valerie Figg and made payable to "SGRA".
