Thursday 19 June. PRE LAKES WEEKEND MEETING. WBLC 8pm.

Tuesday 24 June. TEN PIN BOWLING 7 pm at Bloxwich Leisure Bowl.

Sunday 13 July. PARTY IN THE PARK. Get the picnic box out. It’s the Party in the Park at Warley Woods, Bands, stalls etc., which will follow Vivien’s morning walk (see Walks Programme). Hostess, Vivien Bu Bois 0121 429 6148

Sunday 17 August. COACH TRIP TO CHESTER. Meet at Queen Street car park (opposite old West Bromwich Police Station) at 8.30am. Cost £12.50 each. Start the day with a gentle stroll around the ancient city walls. The rest of the day visiting the sites of Chester, Cathedral, River Dee, or shop till you drop. Hostess, Val Figg 01922 496686. Saturday 4 October. BARN DANCE 7.30pm at WBLC. Yahoo folks – it’s that time of the year again. Get out those gingham dresses and blue jeans. We always have a great time – Caller Eve Evans is back again! Tickets are £5 each. Hostess, Val Figg 01922 496686

Social meetings (unless otherwise stated) take place at the West Bromwich Labour Club (Tel 553 1091), Sandwell Road, West Bromwich (A/Z page 57 1F). There is ample car parking space. Cheques for tickets etc. should be forwarded to Valerie Figg and made payable to "SGRA".
