Some success stories

Shep was found wandering the streets
and taken to the SPCA. The owner
was traced but did not wish the dog
back. We were contacted and found
Shep a home with a family which
had two children and another Sheltie
bitch.

Muffin
SSSR was contacted by the elderly owner
who was no longer fit and able to look
after him. A happy secure dog, Muffin
was re-homed with a disabled couple whose
ailing 18 year old bitch had gone blind
and had only limited time left
Libby came to the SSSR because she
and the family Cairn Terrier did not get
on. The relationship between them had
become untenable and her gentle nature
resulted in her being bullied. Whilst in
the care of the SSSR Libby became
unwell and had to under go surgery and
have extensive Veterinary treatment.
She made a full recovery and now lives
happily with her mistress in a new home

Libby

Seamus and Skerry
These Tricolour little brothers had always
been together. They required re-homing
due to a bereavment and a general
change in family circumstances. They were
successfully placed in a rural home with
a family who had previously bred shelties.
