::Leki (Haibane Renmei):: Photo shoot: summer 2003  (USA) Haibane Renmei is currently one of my favorite anime. I've never ever seen anything similar, so charming and relaxing at the same time. If you haven't already, I really recommend you all to check it out!! ^^v When Eva and me first saw the anime we were like "OMG we gotta go as Hikari and Leki!!!!!" coz jeez, we look exactly like the two of them!!!! Since Alex is a Haibane fan too (actually it was thanks to her that we discovered this series!!!! ^^), I asked her if she wanted to be Rakka, the main character, just for a photo shoot, no real con! I wouldn't cosplay as Leki at a con, coz it's too simple, too... non-costume looking, ya know! Plus I think Haibane is a very "homely" cosplay, pictures must be taken in some old home, or in the garden in some misty, rainy day, which is what we did. It took me five minutes to put this costume together, but it took us really long (how long? 1 hour?) to choose our poses, the right atmosphere, and I think we reached our goal. Sadly I don't have many pictures of myself as Leki, coz the camera wasn't mine, and you know how it is when it's someone else's camera!! ^^;;;  The funny thing is we scared ourself with how much we looked like the Haibanes!!! Leki is my fav character in the series, I look and act like her totally... and it doesnt happen often. It's the first time I find a chara that resembles me that much. Scary... Note: the cigarette I'm smoking is a candy cigarette which I actually ate in the end coz it was too yummy!!! ^^ lol
