The sacred Saraswati River

AHMEDABAD, INDIA, August18, 2002: The government of India, with the assistance of
hydrologists, geologists, archaeologists and space scientists, is trying to bring back
The Saraswati River, which dried up in Vedic times. The dry bed of the "mythological" river
was spotted in satellite photos, five miles wide, coursing from the Himalayas to the Arabian Sea.
Some water still flows along this course, but underground. The government's attempt is to tap
this water in wells and reservoirs, so that Hindus may once again be blessed by the Saraswati's
    sacred waters.

Bridge Between India And Sri Lanka
During Ramayana Period

You must see this link if you know Ramayan

This is the bridge that Shree Ram made it with the help Of Shree Hanuman and Vaanar Sena (Army)
as said in The Ramayana by Rishi Valmiki and Goswami Tulsidas, while going to Lanka now Sri Lanka.

Space images taken by NASA  reveal a mysterious ancient bridge in the Palk Strait between
India and Sri Lanka. The recently discovered bridge currently named as Adam's Bridge is made
of chain of shoals, c.18 miles (30 km) long.

The bridge's unique curvature and composition by age reveals that it is man made. The legends
well as Archeological studies reveal that the first signs of human inhabitants in Sri Lanka date back to
the a primitive age, about 17,50,000 years ago and the bridge's age is also almost same.

According to Hindu Mythology this is about 872,000 years ago.

This information is a crucial aspect for an insight into the mysterious legend called Ramayana,
which was supposed to have taken place in Treta Yuga or Era (more than 17,00,000 years ago).

In this Ramayana Epic written by Sage Valmiki and later on by Goswami Tulsidas in 1575 AD ,
is a mentioning about a bridge, which was built between Rameshwaram in India (Bharat)   and
Sri-Lankan (Ceylon) coast under the supervision of a dynamic and invincible figure called Lord Rama
with the help of Lord Hanuman Ji and His Vaanar Sena (Army) who is supposed to be the incarnation
    of the supreme.

This information may not be of much importance to the archeologists who are interested in
exploring the origins of man, but it is sure to open the spiritual gates of the people of the world to
have come to know an ancient history linked to the Indian mythology.

Please go to the link below to look at the Image of this Bridge - Highly Recommended.

Truth is one, the wise call it by various names." - Hinduism (Rig Veda!)

As stated at the outset in the Rig Veda:

"Truth is one, the wise call it by various names."

Krishana said:    “In whatever way men love Me, in the same way they find My love; various are the ways of men, but in the end they all come to Me."

THE ETERNAL RELIGION

The correct name of Hinduism is Sanatana Dharma, The Eternal Religion. Being based on the Vedas and practiced by the ancient Aryan race, it is also called the Vaidika Dharma. The Vedic Religion and the Arya Dharma, The Religion of the Aryans. As regards the origin and evolution of the word Hindu, Swami Vivekananda says: "This word Hindu was the name that the ancient Persians used to apply to the river Sindhu ( which starts from The Himalayas in Kashmir in India and flows through Kashmir and Pakistan and ends up in Arabian Sea ).

What Lord Krishna said
After necessary editing.Forigners also will be interested to understand the spirituality of olden Era of Bharat.
Based on the references regarding the scientifically contents in Srimad Bhagavatham Americans are conducting many research'
The following are very few.

1.Why Bhagavan Lord Krishna says that among flowers I am the tulasi flower. US scientists found out after research that tulasi flower can only produce Ozone which acts as a protective cover in the ionosphere and it can also be used for life saving medicines.

2, Also with Banyan tree Among the trees I am the Banyan tree which can produce maximum oxygen usually seen in almost all temples the air around 5 KMs radius will be purified around a big banyan tree.

3.Fetus (fully developed embryo in the womb) from 7th month onwards can understand and study. For this examples are Prahlada and  Abhimanue ( From The Mahabharata ) who got knowledge when they were 7 months old in the womb.

such so many scientifically aspects are behind revealed after research and study in America and Europe.

Exact Age of the Gita
Lord Krishna's Birth
On the basis of the large number of astronomical data given in the Mahabharata itself by
Srila Vyasadeva (all these data are said to be consistent), Prof. M. Rangacharya has calculated that
the battle of Kuruksetra in Hariyana State in India (about 100 miles from Delhi) started at 6.30 a.m.
on Friday, 22. November 3067 B.C. (That day was Ekadashi.)

"Prof. Srinivas Raghavan of Sri Aurobindo Study Circle, Madras, approached the subject wholly on
astronomical basis and while explaining his own paper and of Sri Sampat Iyengar observed that the
Mahabharata itself is teeming with a number of astronomical data, which were all consistent.
The Rajasuya Yajna was performed on the Jyestha Mula Amavasya day (Sabha Parva, ch. 36) i.e. with the
sun at 2400 of the Govt. of India Zodiac. 15 years later, the Amavasya was with the sun at 224.75 Jyestha
as described by Veda Vyasa in Udyoga Parva, ch. 14.
Three lunations later on Magha Sukla Astami day (Bhisma Nirvana day), the sun was at 318.0. The
previous day the sun was at 316.5. Veda Vyasa clearlystates that it was Rohini Naksatra on Bhisma Nirvana
(Anusasana Parva, ch. 237, 273, Santi Parva, ch. 46).
Therefore, in the year of The Mahabharata War, the vernal equinox was at 46.5. Now in 1975 A.D. it is at
23.4: hence it has moved by 69.9 at an average rate of 72.5 years per degree. Therefore, the age of the
Mahabharata War was 69.9 x 72.5 = 3190 B.C."

Swami Bon Maharaja (quoted in the same book) has calculated as follows:

Lord Sri Krishna passed away from this world on the Amavasya of Pausa of 5076

i.e. 3101 B.C. or 3179 before Saka era and that was the beginning of Kali-yuga.

Lord Sri Krishna was born 125 years 4 months before this date i.e. 5201 of
Bhadra Krishna - Ashtami or 3226 B.C.

The War of the Mahabharata started 36 years before Lord Krishna left this
World i.e. on Amavasya day of Pausa of 5112 i.e. 3136 Pausa Amavasya B.C. (February).

  Saint - Goswami Tulsidas

Tulsidas was a great Saint. He was a devotee of Lord Rama and Creator of Modern Tulsidas RAMAYAN . Before he became a Saint, he performed regular spiritual practice for many years as a seeker. Early on during
that period, he used to feel that Lord Rama is superior to all the other deities and would not even glance at
another deity’s image.

Once Tulsidas went to Dwarka (a city in modern day state of Gujarat, India where Lord Krishna ruled the city and the surrounding country  to visit Nandadas, a devotee of Lord Krishna. On reaching there, he found Nandadas in the Krishna Temple (Mandir). Tulsidas could not bear to look at the idol of Lord Krishna.  He could not understand why Nandadas worshipped Lord Krishna instead of Lord Rama.

Nandadas was saddened by Tulsidas’ incorrect attitude towards other deities. He prayed to Lord Krishna to help his friend. Within minutes the idol of Krishna was transformed into that of Lord Rama. Immediately Tulsidas realized his mistake. He realized that both were different forms of the same Lord and none was superior to the other. He felt repentant and tears started rolling down his cheeks. He hugged the idol and asked the Lord to forgive him. Nandadas was happy too, as Tulsidas had finally realized The Truth. Both felt gratitude towards the Lord.

Moral: This story implies that all the deities are different forms of the same Lord, but we see them as different due to our (spiritual) ignorance.  To realize this truth one needs to undertake regular spiritual practice.

Goswami Tulsidas' Birthday?

August 10, 1997 marks the birthday of the street child, named Ram - bola who in later life became known as Goswami Sant Tulsidas, for his work as a poet, philosopher and most of all, Lord Rama's devotee.

Tulsidas died in AD 1623. It was Shravana and the third day of the dark fortnight.

Introduction to The RAMAYAN
of Tulsidas

Not Ready

Verification of the birth date at the expense of loosing track of the great teachings of Goswami Tulsidas, particularly in the Ramcharitmansa. is not recommended.

Days and dates do help to keep matters on track, but it is of far greater importance that due recognizance be paid to those who contributed, in no small measure to the peace and prosperity of this little world of ours.

Importance of love - Preeti
Affectionate  Love From Lord Krishna

Subhadra was Lord Krishna’s younger sister. Although Lord Krishna loved her, Draupadi, who was His
step sister, was His favorite. One day, Subhadra asked Lord Krishna, "I am your real sister while Draupadi
is your step sister, then why do You love her more than me?"

Lord Krishna smiled and said, "You will know the answer."

A few days later, Lord Krishna cut His finger and it started bleeding. He rushed to Subhadra and asked
her to wrap a piece of cloth around His finger to stop the bleeding. Subhadra rushed to her wardrobe and
started looking for an inexpensive garment to tear for bandaging the wound. Meanwhile, Draupadi happened
to visit Subhadra. When she saw Lord Krishna’s bleeding finger, she instantly tore off a piece of the
expensive silk garment that she was wearing and wrapped it around His finger. Soon the bleeding stopped.

Upon witnessing the behavior of Draupadi, who sacrificed her rich garment without blinking, Subhadra
realized what pure love and devotion is. She felt ashamed that she loved her rich clothes more than The Lord
and had received the answer to her question.

Moral:

One should learn to love God just the way Draupadi did. Spiritual practice is a sure way to love.
