Crunch Game All Set

Sidcup Artois and F Club 7 go head to head on Thursday for the chance to gain promotion to Division 3. F Club need to win by 2 clear goals to finish above Artois, anything less will see Sidcup promoted. The previous encounter between these two ended in a 6-5 win for F Club which would be good enough for Sidcup to go up should that result be repeated. However comments arising from the clubs training ground at Wearing Park suggests the team will be aiming for 3 pts, meaning Sidcup could still become Champions.

"We have to go out with a positive mentality." Said Babs after training on Tuesday.

"We cant be in a situation with five minutes to go where 1 goal could stop us from getting up. We have to play for 3 points."

F Club are the form team at the moment with 8 wins in their previous 10 games. Sidcup will need to be ready for a battle or the seasons good work could all go to waste.

SEDS also have a massive game on Thursday with the Division 3 Championship still up for grabs. The canaries will have to be well prepared for their game as a new team takes to the field & SEDS have half a team missing. We wish them all the best and hope we both gain positive results from our games.
