VIDEO PROJECT (reviewed and realistic) Pat's big bro, Jack, said we'd have to wait a while before we make a video cos we won't look good enough...f*ck skill, we're hear for hardcore Xtreme...welcome to the terrordome!!! The video, as yet untitled, is just waiting to be filmed, although a hectic exams timetable for Mick and Pat may screw things slightly. Here's a rough outline of what we plan to do...
SECTION 1 The most hardcore skate in the world, Cambuslang! Advancing from Mick's room all the way to Safeway, you'll be amazed at all the stuff we are up to...expect excellent bails, some cool rollerblading shit and a possible appearance from the "other" Cambie skaters (George and the Halfway kids)! SECTION 2 What a difference 15 minutes makes...replace skating on not so great surfaces without anyone caring to skating on great surfaces but having to constantly watch your back for coppers. Yep, we are off to Glasgow. There won't be too much footage of us cos of the big 5-0, but we'll see some rad stuff hopefully. You'll be meeting our pals from the GOMA! SECTION 3 Advance to the skateparks...chances are we'll do a bit of filming at Queens (the wreck) but we hope to get out to Livi so we can sample the bowls! SECTION 4 All the rubbish we couldn't stick in anywhere else! Probably some street-luge, dumb ass jokes and definitely (we hope) a preview of Mick's band! So what if we'll never get round to doing this, it's a nice idea! |

INSPIRATION Lots of things inspired us to make a skateboarding video, but here are the main reasons...
1. Everyone thought it'd be cool! 2. We like 411 3. WE saw these guys at Kippen doing it. 4. It'll be good publicity! The video will track our best tricks, as well as showing interviews with us and it definitely will show the worlds worst bails (we are even bad at falling!). The whole bunch of us will be involved in skating and filming so be prepared! |
ON THE NOTE OF PROJECTS... Whilst on the note of projects, it would be good to tell you that we have been successful in gaining the local newspaper's attention and we have been in contact with them...they might be helping us get a skatepark in Cambie! Yes, in Cambie! Thanks to them, we have now succeeded in our propaganda...peace, bread, land...heil...we are the one

If you are ever in Glasgow for a while then take time to watch Chewin the Fat at 10.35PM on BBC 1, Wednesdays. Take time to watch out in local newspapers, small publications etc for us...we're everywhere right now! SKate Cambie has hit the Glaswegian and the Rutherglen Reformer. Pretty good, eh? |
